If you head over to NHL.com and click on the 2012 All-Star ballot, you get to pick three forwards from a gaggle of NHL superstars. There’s an issue with the ballot though: It’s missing the #4 overall scorer in the league. That’s right folks. The 2012 All-Star Ballot has such players as David Krejci (3 goals, 5 assists, 8 points), Jeff Carter (0 goals, 3 assists, recently off of IR), RJ Hamburger (1 goal, 4 assists, 5 points) and the biggest injustice of all: Sidney Crosby (0 games played in the 2011-2012 season as of this post).
If that doesn’t scream injustice, I don’t know what does. I mean, look at some of those name and the totals posted and then look at Tyler Seguin. No big deal that Seguin isn’t on the All-Star ballot right? He’s only second in the NHL in goals with 11, fourth in the NHL in points with 20 and first in the NHL with a plus/minus of +14. Again, no big deal. Let’s have Jeff Carter and Sidney Crosby be on the ballot when they can’t even get through a season at full health.
This injustice can not happen. A guy like Crosby, who hasn’t played a game yet, or that overrated piece of shit Ovechkin, who isn’t in the top 30 in total points, shouldn’t be an All-Star over Seguin. Seguin has been the hottest player this season behind Phil Kessel (I just threw up in my mouth a little) and him not being part of this is bullshit.
So I come to you, loyal readers of Days of Y’Orr and all the Bruins fans out there with a plea that Tyler Seguin gets voted into this year’s All-Star game. At the bottom of the online ballot is a write-in vote and Seguin deserves to be that write-in.
Retweet this. Repost this. Share this on Facebook. Put it on reddit. Lets go Bruins fans. Tyler Seguin deserves to be an All-Star over guys like Ovechkin, Crosby and the bottom of those shit suckers on the ballot.
LETS THE SEGUIN MOVEMENT BEGIN!
