Hands up if you haven’t noticed the Indianapolis Colts are 6-0 this season.
OK, they’re not quite that anonymous but Jim Caldwell’s group could be one of the least talked-about 6-0 teams in NFL history. Everyone has been wowed by the New Orleans Saints’ fast start, the Denver Broncos have garnered plenty of headlines because they were not expected to be so good and Brett Favre has ensured a great deal of column inches for the Minnesota Vikings.
But despite coming into 2009 on the back of an off-season of change, the Colts have the look of Super Bowl contenders and it’s tough to pick a team who could knock them off if the AFC playoffs were to begin tomorrow.
