In A-10 action last night, the Temple Owls beat the St. Louis Billikens 72-67 at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, MO.
The leading scorer for the Owls was Jr. G Khalif Wyatt; Wyatt scored 22 points and was 3 for 3 from three point range in 35 minutes of action. G Ramone Moore, also in the starting lineup, scored 18 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.
On the Billikens side, Jr. G Kwamain Mitchell scored 16 points and was 4 for 7 from three point range. But So. F Dwayne Evans contributed 14 points and 8 rebounds.
The Owls are now (11-4, 1-1 A-10) and will take on the (10-7, 1-1 A-10) Richmond Spiders at the Robins Center at 7:00 pm on Saturday. The Billikens are now (13-4, 1-2 A-10) and will travel to Dale F. Halton Arena to take on the Charlotte 49ers (9-6, 2-1 A-10) at 2:00 pm on Saturday as well.
