The Women’s College Volleyball polls remained stable again this week with very little turmoil or change. Indeed, you could almost say it was a smooth week. “Man, it’s a hot one, like seven inches from the midday sun. Well, I hear you whispering the words that melt everyone, but you stay so cool… And if you said this life ain’t good enough, I would give my world to lift you up. I could change my life to better suit your mood. Cause you’re so smooth.” From the song “Smooth” by Santana featuring Rob Thomas.
The athletes playing these college matches are the players who may someday move on and help the USA win a second – or even a third – Women’s World Championship. A fair amount of these matches are televised, so please try to support these athletes as they compete because both the players and the sport need you and your support.
We are also approaching tournament time for 2014 Women’s College Volleyball. Here are the dates and the locations of the tournaments.
NAIA Women’s Volleyball Championship Tournament – December 2 thru 6 at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa.
NCAA DI Women’s Volleyball Championship Tournament – December 18 thru 20 at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
