As part of the Toronto Raptors 15th Anniversary celebrations, the Raptors will officially join the list of teams that will feature an NBA Hardwood Classics jersey, more commonly known as a ‘throwback jersey’, this season.
The Raptors will honour Toronto’s basketball history by donning the jerseys of the 1946-47 Toronto Huskies. They will debut them on December 8th against the Minnesota Timberwolves, who very well may wear their ‘Pooh Richardson & Christian Laettner Era’ duds for the match up. Attendees at that game will receive a Hedo Turkoglu bobblehead wearing the retro uni.
The Raptors will wear these simple, yet classic uniforms for the following 6 home dates:
Minnesota Timberwolves: Tue 12/08/09, 7:00 PM
New Jersey Nets: Fri 12/18/09, 7:00 PM
Miami Heat: Wed 01/27/10, 7:00 PM
Memphis Grizzlies: Wed 02/17/10, 7:00 PM
New York Knicks: Fri 03/05/10, 7:00 PM
Utah Jazz: Wed 03/24/10, 7:00 PM
