The Red Sox are Moving at a Snail’s Pace

So, what have the Red Sox done to improve the team that did not make the playoffs last season?  No a whole lot.   The team still has no manager while the Cubs and Cardinals have both filled their vacancies.  Pap was allowed to walk without being made an offer and now the negotiations with Big Papi which seemed to be coming to a head have gone silent.  Not as big of a deal but still part of a trend; Drew Sutton has signed with the Atlanta Braves.

There is still plenty of time to fill the holes on the team but the natives are getting restless.  It is time for a sign from Yawkey Way that things are moving forward in the right direction.  With the Winter Meetings being held in Dallas this year we can only hope that everything will be bigger in Texas for the Red Sox.
