Jevon Kearse is back in the building. Kearse has agreed to terms with the Titans , rejoining the team that he started with in 1999.
Kearse’s signing provides the Titans with a big-name player who is hoping to resuscitate a once promising career. As a result of the departures of Antwan Odom and Travis LaBoy, Mike Reinfeldt and company were on the prowl for some help at the DE position.
Hopefully, Kearse can display the type of sacking prowess that earned him the nickname “The Freak” in his impressive NFL Rookie of the Year performance during the 1999 season. Injury issues will be a concern, but from a sentimental perspective, Titan fans should be happy to be able to root for Kearse again.
