This preseason game between the Sixers and Wizards was definitely closer than the last preseason matchup between these two squads. Since they last met up, the Sixers defeated the Wizards 103-78.


On Tuesday night, the Sixers defeated the Wizards 101-94. The Wizards came out in this game and played aggressively. The Wizards definitely had a better motivation in this game as they took the lead into the half 52-47. Sixers Rookie F Nikola Vucevic hit a three pointer at the end of the half to keep the team in striking distance. In the second half, the Sixers came out and took control for the rest of the game. Sixers PG Jrue Holiday led all scorers with 24 points, 6 assists, and also adding 3 for 5 from three point range.


The Sixers will open up the regular season the day after Christmas at Portland versus the Trail Blazers.
