Last night, the Sixers started Game 3 clicking on all cylinders especially in the first quarter, but it was not meant to be as the Celtics took control from the second quarter on. The Celtics defeated the Sixers 107-91 in Game 3.

The Sixers defense was very poor and it showed as Paul Pierce had 24 points, Kevin Garnett had 27 points, and Rajon Rondo had 23 points. Also not to mention, all of these players had some kind of double-double when the game was finished. But on the offensive side for the Sixers, they just did not have it. Elton Brand had 3 points, Spencer Hawes had 4 points, and Evan Turner had 4 points; shooting 1 of 10 from the field. As this game got out of hand, Doug Collins emptied his bench and everybody got playing time.

The Celtics came to play on Wednesday night and they sent a message. Now for the Sixers, they have to play with some emotion and give it a full effort if they want to beat the C’s on Friday night at 8:00 pm in Game 4 to tie up the series at 2-2.
