The main event for the evening was a fight between the grappling star Katja Kankaanpää and relatively unknown fighter from the United Kingdom Simona Soukupova. The fight was fast paced from the opening bell to the end of the fight, both fighters showing their well rounded skills. Kankaanpää had Soukupova in a deep kneebar at the end of first round and Soukupova retaliated with her own submission attacks at the end of the second round and almost submitted Kankaanpää. As the fight got closer and closer to the end, both fighters seemed to kick in the extra gear and go full blast, trying to secure dominance on the judges score cards, but eventually the fight was announced as a split decision draw. It was a close fight but many felt that Kankaanpää should’ve gotten the decision as she pressed the action more and dictated where the fight was fought by landing numerous takedowns.

Round 2 – Its a slow start to the round, neither fighter really commiting to any solid strikes, Shabe throws a flying knee, which stuns kian. Shabe grabs a hold of Kian,throws a few uppercuts and pushes him into the cage , Shabe drags him down to the ground, Shabe secure Kians back and throws some bombs, Kian in trouble rolls over and Shabe goes for the rear naked choke, Shabe turns it into a twister and Kian is force to tap.

Round 1: The two come out striking and Cofer lands early. Rio shoots, but they reach the cage and clinch. Rio maintains the middle of the cage. They break, and Cofer lands a pair of big lefts that rock Rio. Rio attempts a desperation takedown and again drives Cofer to the cage. Again they split, and Rio is fully recovered. Cofer continues looking for the big straight left, and Rio lands a takedown and winds up in Cofer’s guard. Rio lands some ground and pound, but Cofer threatens his leg, and uses that to reverse into top position. In Rio’s guard, Cofer starts landing his own ground and pound. In the final seconds, Rio starts looking for a heel hook, but Cofer struggles until the horn.
Round 2: The two strike and as Cofer overextends for a punch, Rio starts swinging himself. Cofer finds another left hand, but Reio grabs Cofer and slams him to the ground. Cofer threatens with a submission and Rio quickly stands. Rio stands over Cofer, looking to get back into his guard, but Cofer uses upkicks to the body to keep Rio off. Winslow separates them and they return to their feet. Cofer starts setting up kicks to the body, and Rio still has trouble keeping up with the strikes. They clinch, but Cofer twists Rio to the cage and begins landing knees to the legs and body. Rio turns Cofer around and looks for elbows. Rio lands a knee as the split and goes for a big single, turning Cofer and getting in mount. Cofer gives up his back and returns to his feet, but Rio holds on. Cofer shakes him off and, and lands in Rio’s half-guard. He lands a big elbow, but Rio slips out and gets back to striking range. The round ends without much happening.
Round 3: Cofer again begins finding a home for the left hand, and starts landing leg kicks. Rio ends up going straight-up Lucha Libre and spins around Cofer and gets to half-guard. Rio powers through wrist control to get to side control. Rio lands short elbows to the body and takes hold of Cofer’s arm. Cofer tries to slip through slide control, but finds himself deep in an armbar. Rio lets go, and Cofer ends up on top, in Rio’s guard. With 90 seconds left, Cofer knows that he needs to go nuts to win the fight, but Rio keeps active in guard. Rio brings his legs over and gets hold of Cofer’s wrist. He ends up getting the armbar position and applies enough pressure from an awkward position, and gets the tap.

Round 1 – The round opened with Held landing a couple of nice low leg-kicks. Clementi then grabbed Held and rolled him to the ground. The exchange lead to a very awkward position which eventually lead to Held grabbing a toe-hold. As the exchange went on, Clementi countered with a leg-lock. As the round wore on Clementi then positioned for an inverted heel-hook. Held then snuck out and grabbed a knee-bar. The round finally ended with Held on-top and Clementi going for a triangle.
Round 2 – The second round opened with a couple of good shots by Clementi. He then grabbed Held and threw him down to the mat. From the top position Clementi continued to move around and hold half-guard. As the round wore on Clementi maintained the top-position with Held trying to fish for more leg-locks. As the flurry ensued Held snuck in a toe-hold and forced Clementi to tap.

Round 1 – The fighters revert to a feeling-out process early. The patiently circle before reigning punches. Hayden clips Camoes as he moves in and then takes the center. Hayden ducks under a punch but can’t finish the takedown. Camoes then tries on his own and fails, but Hayden takes his back and drags him to his knees. Camoes works his way back up, but Hayden shoots and gets the double-leg takedown. Camoes, though, easily gets back up, catches a kick, and forces the fight to the mat. Hayden tries to take his back and secures one hook, and then he puts Camoes on his back and works from side control. Camoes, though, grabs an arm. It looks deep, but Hayden pops free. Camoes instantly swarms and takes top position as Hayden tries to push him away. Hayden lands an upkick, but Camoes takes his back and pulls him backward while working for the rear-naked choke. Camoes continues torquing and appeared to tap, but it continues on. Hayden finally taps, and this one is over.

Round 1: Benoist throws a high kick, but Bacyzynski ducks under it. Benoist keeps his kicks at a normal launch sequence against his opponent. Both clinch and Benoist gets the inside trip and gets the fight to the ground. Benoist works on his ground and pound in Bacyzynski’s full guard. Bacyzynski tries scooting out of trouble, but Benoist pushes him against the fence. As Bacyzynski uses the fence to get back up, Benoist releases an illegal knee which pauses the fight. The fight resumes with both fighters trading kicks. Bacyzynski throws a heavy hand that momentarily rocks Benoist. Benoist grapples into an innovated “monkey-like” cling which Bacyzynski just ignores. Benoist lets go and the fight resumes on the feet. Benoist attempts a takedown that Bacyzynski stuffs, capitalizes, and takes control of the ground game. Benoist eats some shots from a towering Bacyzynski, but returns fire with some upkicks of his own. Round ends.
Round 2: Bacyzynski sets up his attacks with some jabs. Bacyzynski moves in with his combinations that Benoist tries defending. Bacyzynski trips and Benoist locks his neck in a front lock and launches a knee while Bacyzynski’s knee is still down. The referee calls for time-out and deducts a point from Benoist. Benoist comes back by striking some immediate points and takes down Bacyzynski to the mat. Benoist works on his ground and pound. Bacyzynski lands a powerful upkick and drops Benoist into his opponent’s full guard who almost locks up a triangle choke. Benoist realizes the submission attempt and stands up and pulls his hand out. The fight gets back on the feet. Bacyzynski moves in with a flying knee that slightly catches Benoist and drops the fight to the ground. Bacyzynski scores some points of his own with his own rendition of ground and pound. Round ends.
Round 3: Benoist catches a left and right kick to an incoming Bacyzynski! Bacyzynski recovers and catches Benoist in a Thai clinch which he uses to throw a knee which cuts Benoist! Benoist switches into his own body clinch and trips Bacyzynski! Benoist continues his ground and point scoring. Bacyzynski escapes and gets up, but Benoist locks up the body and drags Bacyzynski to the ground. Benoist works diligently by smothering Bacyzynski with punches. Bacyzynski also attacks off his back. The referee stands both fighters up and the fight is reset. With one minute remaining, Benoist locks a standing arm triangle, but Bacyzynski just swings him off and Bacyzynski pushes Benoist to the ground and rains shots from the top. Round ends.

Round 1: Rob is the first to action shooting in for a takedown but is not able to get it as they run up against the cage. The fighters are now clinched up against the cage with rocky having outside control. Rocky uses what appears to be a hip-toss to get Rob down to the ground but not for long as Rob is able to manuverner out from underneath. Rocky now has a modified side-control position. Rocky jumps out of side-control and is able to lock in a very loose armbar attempt. Rob is slidding out from the back of Rocky almost slipping out but Rocky locks in the leg hooks and now has the back of Rob. Rocky goes for an armbar but Rob is again able to get out of it and now he is on top in full-guard postion. Rocky turns over giving up his back nad is abelt to get to his knees with Rob hovering over the back of him. Rocky turns back over to go belly-to-belly only for a second though as he is able to transition to get the back of Rob. Rocky locked in a body triangle to stop Rob from going anyway and as the ten second bell sounds Rocky was looking for a rear-naked choke. The bell sounds ending the round.
Round 2: Rob comes forward with a quick combination and then grabs a hold of Rocky and they are now tied up against the cage with Rob on the outside. Rob is able to grab the back of Rocky and tosses him down to the ground and passes to side-control position. Rob drops an elbow and Rocky turns over and gives up his back. Rob was looking to get his leg hooks in but Rob is too quick and jumps out from underneath gets the back of Rob and secures the body triangle lock with his legs and goes for a rear-naked choke. Rob is doing a great job at preventing the rear-naked at the moment. Rob is able to roll Rocky from the bottom and slide out from the back and he gets to his feet standing over Rocky. Rob allows up to get back to his feet; they immediately clinch back up against the cage with Rob gaining outside control. Rocky tries to lock in the underhooks. Rob jumps to get Rocky down to the ground but in the tranisition Rocky is able to manunveur out of it to get a submission attempt in. However once they get down to the ground the bell sounds ending the round.
Round 3: Rob comes forward ducks a jab from Rocky and clinches up with him and they step back up against the cage. Rob has outside control this time around looking to get Rocky down to the ground. It appears that Rocky was looking to go for a standing guillotine choke but was unsucessful in the attempt. Rob picks Rocky up from the clinch and slams him down to the ground landing on top in side-control. Rocky quickly rolls to his knees to get out but Rob jumps and secures the back of Rocky but isn’t quick enough to lock in the leg hooks allowing Rocky to get out and back to his feet. Both fighters are standing and clinch right back up with Rob getting outside control; they’re now battling to gain position. Rob drops down to get a single-leg takedown but Rocky stops him mid-air and gets out from the takedown but Rob is too quick and gets full-guard on top of Rocky. Rob transistions quickly to full-mount with the time counting down. Rocky does the right thing and pulls Rob down so he can’t do any damage. Rocky is able to get out but gives up his back in the process however the bell sound ending the round.

Round 1 – Fukuda shoots a take down and Cantwell looks for an arm bar but Fukuda escapes and is landing big punches from the top. Cantwell escapes back to his feet and they clinch against the cage. They break and Cantwell lands a good leg kick. Fukuda shoots but is stuffed. Cantwell lands a right hand. Fukuda lands a right hand and a leg kick. Cantwell throws a superman punch but misses. Cantwell ducks under a right hook and lands a hard body shot and follows it with a flying knee that misses and then grazed Fukuda with a head kick. round ends.
Round 2- Fukuda lands 3 leg kicks and then 3 uppercuts and shoots a take down but gets caught in a guillotine. Fukuda breaks free and they get back to their feet. Fukuda lands a good left hook and a body punch. Fukuda has Cantwell up against the cage and he unloads on him with punches. Cantwell fights back with punches of his own and gets off the cage. Cantwell has a head kick blocked and eats an upper cut. Fukuda throws an inside leg kick that hits Cantwell in the junk. Action is stopped while Cantwell recovers. They continue and Cantwell lands a body kick and then shoots a take down. Cantwell briefly takes the back but Fukuda gets to his feet and the round ends.
Round 3- Fukuda lands a left hook and a leg kick and a right hook and 2 more leg kicks. Cantwell throws a leg kick but it is blocked. Fukuda lands a few punches against the cage and then gets the take down. Cantwell looks to lock on a gogoplata but gives up his back after being rolled. Cantwell gets back to his feet and goes back to eating punches and kicks. Fukuda lands several punches to the body and head. Fukuda lands 3 hard body kicks and several punches. Fukuda lands another hard body kick and the round ends.

Round 2: Tito with a straight right countered by Forrest. Tito drops Griffin with a right and he’s still wobbly! Tito hoping to finish but Griffin is a survivor! Tito does not have the stamina to close it out and now they are clinched against the cage. Forrest recovering. They square up again. Nice right by Forrest, mixed with leg kicks. Both warriors huffing a bit. This is fight of the night so far. Trading punches in the center of the ring. An admirable display of heart and toughness by both men. Forrest lands a right and more punches in bunches. Leg kicks from Griffin. Jab lands on Tito’s eye. Tito standing right in front of Forrest, who is landing more strikes. Uppercut by Forrest, but nothing seems to be hurting Tito. Forrest’s upper lip is swollen quite a bit. Combos. Griffin throwing everything he can. Tito very slow now. Head kick barely misses for Forrest. These guys are earning their payday. Battered faces on both sides. They’re standing in the middle of the ring and brawling. Front face kick by Forrest misses. Nice left from Griffin. Tito looking for another late-round takedown. Not quite.
Round 3: Final round. Does Tito have one big bomb left in that right hand? Forrest attacking. Tito conserving — he’s not afraid of Forrest’s power. Great combo by FG. Another right hand by Tito drops Griffin! But he can’t finish again. Tito takes him down! Ortiz with some elbows from the top. Forrest doing what he can to get back up. They’re in the middle of the octagon. Forrest holding guard. An exhausting scramble. Both men tired. Both men desperate to win. Tito with an elbow. Forrest has to get up or he’ll lose this round. Forrest looks for a kimura but doesn’t get it. Tito causing no damage, but still on top. Forrest wall walks. They’re back up. Exhausted and clinching. Tito against the fence. 2 minutes to go. Knee from Griffin hits the belly. Great fight. The heart of the UFC. Griffin throwing and throwing. Landing some on Tito’s chin. 1 munte to go. They’re in the center of the cage. The crowd roaring as Tito lands. Tito needs to unload. Forrest connecting with combos. Both men slugging. Tito not doing much. He’s out of gas. They swing for the fences as the fight ends!

Round one: Leg kick by Zhao. Good combo by Zhao, ending on a body kick. Pulver with a response combo. Pulver pressing the action. Zhao lands a good right hook. Pulver down, looked to be a slip. Back up. Big overhand right by Zhao. Good left hand by Pulver, but he eats a huge right hand response. Pulver powers through for the takedown, right to half guard. Pulver using ground and pound, trying to pass to side control. Pulver pushing on the body with his hands to get his leg free. Pulver wraps an arm around the neck for positioning, but he may try and turn this into a choke. Pulver gives up on it and stands, hovering over Zhao. Zhao springs back to his feet. Good jab by Pulver. Outside leg kick by Zhao. Big combo by Zhao. And another! Pulver looks stunned. Zhao is throwing some huge punches in this fight, clearly winning all of the stand up exchanges. Inside leg kick by Zhao. Big right hand by Zhao. Head kick by Pulver is blocked. Pulver rushes in to tie things up and he eats a couple of big punches.
Round two: Outside leg kick by Zhao. Good jab by Pulver, then a straight let as Zhao throws wildly and misses. Inside leg kick by Zhao. Fighters exchange combos. Leg kick by Zhao. Outside leg kick by Zhao, as he consistently is picking off Pulver’s lead leg. Stiff jab by Pulver. Zhao continuing to throw punches in bunches, making it difficult for Pulver to get in close. Big left hand by Pulver out of nowhere, knocking out Zhao’s mouthpiece! Pulver follows up with the takedown. North south with Pulver on top. Pulver using knees to the head which are legal here. Big knees! Pulver tries for the crucifix. He’s close to having that arm pinned in. Big knees to the ribs and then to the head by Pulver. Just over a minute left. Bad spot for Zhao. Another knee to the head by Pulver. Several more. Knees to the ribs now by Pulver. Zhao just seems to have no answer. Pulver using elbows to the body now. Elbow to the head by Pulver. Big round for Jens Pulver.
Round three: Slow going early on in round three. Zhao throws a kick that strays low and Pulver takes a moment to recover. Back to action. Outside leg kick by Zhao. Zhao throws another kick that goes low, this time, right up the middle. Pulver falls to the mat in obvious agony. He’s clearly in a ton of pain. His cornermen are going crazy, shouting that they feel the last kick was on purpose, though that is unlikely. Pulver will get time, and he clearly needs it. Pulver trying to talk it off now, but he is in absolute anguish. Now dropping back to his knees. He may not be able to continue. And Zhao has now received a yellow card for the illegal kick. If Pulver is unable to keep fighting, this contest will go to the judges scorecard and will be judged on the action up to this point. It looks like they’re calling this one. Unfortunate end to the fight, which will now be decided by the judges.

Round 1: Madadi comes out, and Marcello tries an overhand right and then a right kick. The crowd cheers with every Brazilian strike. Reza is keeping his defense tight, waiting for his spot to strike. A couple left straights from Madadi, who looks confortable stalking his opponent. One and half minutes down, and no one has landed anything significant. Madadi seems the more confident fighter, waving on his opponent for more. A super man punch from Madadi looks to land. Half way through the round, Madadi lands a few more punches. Marcello takes the center of the Octagon. Overhand punches from Madadi, as he chases the ground specialist. Marcello looks to have a litte blood coming from his nose. The Brazilian is mising in a right kick, and Madadi likes to keep the fight standing, as he doesn’t look for a takedown. One minute left in the round. Madadi takes it to the ground with 40 seconds left. Madadi says “Get up bitch”, and the referee says “watch the offensive language”.
Round 2: Good left hands from Madadi to start the second. One minute in the round, and Madadi seems to be stalking now. Solid right hand from Madadi. Marcello tries a left kick, and the two are exchanging. When Madadi lands, there is no applause. Madadi with a big upper cut. The Swede is cut on the left eye, and thinks about taking the fight to the ground, but follows the game plan and keeps it standing. The two clinch half way in teh round, and Madadi wipes blood away. The two try to land haymakers, and Madadi is damaging more, but no huge blows land. Big right from Madadi , and another left and righ, and he has Marcello hurt bad. One minute left, and Madadi takes a few of his own. Madadi slams Marcello with one minute left, and lands some small hammer fists. The fight is stood up after 25 seconds on the ground. Marcello flurries, and the crowd applauds, but not enough for a dominant round from Madadi.
Round 3: Big right hand by Madadi 20 seconds into the round. Madadi seems to be the fresher of the two, and moves forward as the Brazilian tries to counter-strike. Madadi with a take-down one minute into the bout. “Keep yourself busy” says the referee immediately, and the fight goes back to the feet as Madadi elects to keep it there. Two minutes down, and three minutes left in the fight. The left jab seems to be the difference here, as Madadi uses it to land first. Marcello’s face looks beaten, and he tries a reverse high-kick, and Madadi gestures to the crowd with the miss. A big right rom Madadi that again chases the Brazilian around the cage. Marcello looks up a tthe click , and sees one and a half minutes left and charges as Madadi and lands some punches. Madadi is moving back, but the two elect to stand in the middle of the Octagon. 35 seconds left and Marcello is throwing some jabs and kicks that miss.

Round 1: Ellenberger throwing punches and Sanchez looking for an opening. Feeling each other out at the start. Good right by Ellenberger. Ellenberger moving forward, throwing wide punches but not landing solidly. Knee by Ellenberger on chin of Sanchez. Sanchez charges in and lands; counter knee by Ellenberger. Both fighters with flurries. Crowd chanting “Jake, Jake…”. Ellenberger with the knockdown and Sanchez gets up. Big punch seems to hurt Sanchez but does not slow him down.
Round 2: Sanchez’s corner working on his nose and it may be broken. Ellenberger ready to go at start of round. Spinning back kick by Sanchez is ineffective. Right roundhouse kick by Ellenberger blocked by Sanchez. Sanchez kick is ineffective. Ellenberger is quicker and lands a left hook. Another left hook as well. Sanchez with solid right hook and then bull rushes Ellenberger. Hometown hero has not landed much in the final round but then he gets a takedown. He is trying to punch from the top and Sanchez could be in trouble. Ellenberger thowing power punches and elbows and Sanchez is a bloody mess. He got hit in the nose and eye. Big finish of round for Ellenberger. Should be a great round 3.
Round 3: Sanchez cleaned up by corner to start round. Sanchez has not landed any seriosu power punches. Ellenberger knocks Sanchez off balance and he goes backwards. Sanchez bleeding again and that nose looks broken. Right hand by Ellenberger followed by right hand from Sanchez tht appeared to hurt Ellenberger. However, Sanchez can’t follow up. Ellenberger is cut and he is being hit with punches before Ellenberger scores takedown. Sanchez reverses and throws punchs and he is taking control. Tremendous rally by Sanchez. Two-fisted attack by Sanchez and then escape by Ellenberger at the horn… What a finish…It will go to a decision and Ellenberger had control for most of the fight, but Sanchez had control in the final few minutes. Is it enough?

Round 1: Referee Mario Yamasaki is in charge of tonight’s main event, a catch-weight affair at 190 pounds. Franklin begins by inching Silva toward the fence, creeping in the southpaw stance and testing the range with jabs. Silva counters a body kick perfectly with a right hand over the top. Franklin stays on the offensive, keeping Wand on the fence and striking with a pair of straight left hands. Jabs and right hooks connecting now for “Ace,” and he catches a high kick from Silva. It’s the “Axe Murderer” who lands a few blows while he’s off-balance, however, and Franklin lets go of the limb. Two minute to go in the opening round and Franklin clips Silva with a short right hand in the pocket. Silva stumbles to the ground but stands right back up and resumes circling the outside counter-clockwise while Franklin tries to cut off the angles. Franklin is finding his range now, working his straight shots and adding kicks and hooks to the body. Silva lands a head kick but Franklin shakes it off and deflects the next one with his forearms.
Round 2: Silva takes the center of the Octagon to start the second round, but he’s soon back to moving backward while Franklin presses forward. Silva hits the ground after throwing a low kick, looking perhaps like he twisted his ankle, but the Brazilian shows no sign as he stands back up. Franklin is controlling the cage, choosing his windows to step inside and rough up the bloodied face of Silva, then dip back out before the former Pride star can unload. The veterans trade head kicks, neither landing clean, and the crowd jolts alive when a pair of short punches from Silva get through Franklin’s guard. Franklin pays him back with a few combinations and a body kick, but Wand backs him off with a right hand. Silva staggers Franklin with a right hook and that’s just the beginning of an onslaught which includes knees and another nasty right which puts Ace flat on his back. Silva is vicious but unable to put away Franklin, who manages to get to his knees and turtle up under fire. Silva just won’t relent, blasting away with hammerfists which very nearly prevent Franklin from seeing the third round. Ref Yamasaki gives Franklin every opportunity to recover, and somehow the former UFC champ hears the horn.
Round 3: Franklin appears recovered but is nowhere near as aggressive as the third round begins, content to simply follow Silva around the outside and flick out jabs. Silva, meanwhile, may have overexerted himself trying to finish at the end of the second round, as he just trods around the outside, putting up his guard and not throwing much of anything in return. Franklin sticks some long punches in the face of Silva, who continues his passivity as the round enters its final minute. Franklin gets a waistlock and trips Silva to the floor, landing in half-guard on the Brazilian’s left side near the fence. Franklin stands up in the final 15 seconds and bashes away with elbows and punches to close out the round.
Round 4: It’s more of the same from Franklin to begin the fourth, pawing with right hands over the top while staying out of range of what minimal offense Wanderlei offers (slow hooks and the occasional head kick). A straight left from Franklin splits Silva’s guard, followed closely by a nice right hook. Despite his strong finish to round two, Silva has seen the fight slipping out of his hands with every moment since. He’s just getting picked apart by the jabs of Franklin, who’s keeping his distance even in the late going. Franklin takes a shin on the cup and it’s a bad one; Ace needs a couple minutes to shake himself up and the fight resumes with 65 seconds left in the round. Left straight-right hook combo from Franklin gets through again and he adds a leg kick to the end. The crowd cheers as Silva counters a body kick with a right hand over the top, but it’s the most they’ve had to cheer for in the last 10 minutes.
Round 5: Silva is throwing more this round than in the previous two, but it’s still Franklin looking the fresher, keeping the Brazilian on the end of his jab. Good footwork and head movement from Franklin down the stretch is keeping him out of any serious trouble from Silva’s sporadic power punches. The jab of Franklin is working well, too, further bloodying the bridge of Wanderlei’s nose and leaving Silva no option but to come forward continually and push the pace. Silva lands a right hand and Franklin wheels away, prompting Silva to wave him on. Another right from Silva and Franklin keeps backpedaling, flicking out jabs as he goes. Silva is still giving chase at the final horn, pinning Franklin against the fence. Franklin gets the final word, knocking Silva to the ground with a left hand in the last exchange. The two veterans of the sport grin and embrace at the end of the fight while the Brazilian crowd explodes.
