The Twins are solving their problems

There was a lack of depth in Triple A, and Ben Revere needed to play every day, so the Twins added Clete Thomas.

The Twins weren’t getting any production off the bench from Sean Burroughs, so they sent him down and called up someone who hit 50 points higher than him last season. Drew Butera is in the lineup tonight!

The Twins have bee in a bad place this season. They haven’t had a lot to smile about, and the team hasn’t got much out of Thomas, even in a fourth outfielder role, so today, they DFA’d Thomas and added Erik Komatsu. Sure, he is young, doesn’t project to be a star or anything, and hasn’t really proved that he can hit, but look at that smile!

Yes, Minnesota, everything is going to be all right.
