Aside from Tiger Woods, the biggest story in the sports blogosphere this week was the 40 yard dash challenge made by Rajon Rondo to the Titans' Chris Johnson. A story that started right here on Red's Army thanks to a tip from KWAPT and some investigative blogging (John has tremendous Google search capability). CJ fired back at Rondo, claiming not only would he win the race, but he'd also beat him in 1-on-1.
On the court, the Celtics beat the Heat, declawed the Bobcats, lassoed the Spurs and rolled the Thunder.
Perk found some love, courtesy the Chief. KG, Paul, Ray and Rondo all made one panel's Top 50 players list. Despite that nod, Rondo found no such love from Dime Magazine as they ranked point guards. Here's a shocker – Sheed is getting criticized for his technical difficulties.
ESPN's Chris Forsberg must love misery, because he wants us to reminisce about the worst Celtic team and its 18 game losing streak.
Around the league, crazy Ron Artest admitted he used to drink Hennessy at halftime of Bulls games. LeBron James nailed a full-court shot with a a football, while Allen Iverson was tearfully thankful the 76ers (a team he demanded trade him years ago) gave him a second, third, fourth chance. The player voted to have the highest basketball IQ also happens to be the biggest douche.
If it's dancers you covet, we have some snapshots of the Thunder girls, Spurs Silvers dancers, and the Lady Cats.
And here's my favorite KG Face of the Day.
