Rafael Soriano was offered arbitration by the Braves and now there is a chance he may accept it. The arbitration deadline is Monday at midnight giving Theo Epstein little time to close a deal. If Soriano accepts arbitration the Red Sox could still trade for him because the Braves already have Saito and Wagner, but it would come at a higher price in terms of losing talent. Theo could wait him out and hope he is bluffing or turn to Mike Gonzalez (a Scott Boras client) as another option.
