In his latest NY Daily News column blasting Phil Jackson, Frank Isola drops a nugget about Utah Jazz free-agent Gordon Hayward:
There are already whispers that if Utah can’t re-sign Gordon Hayward he could end up in Miami.
Those whispers must be super soft because this is the first time anyone’s mentioned Hayward with a team not in Utah or Boston.
We assumed if Hayward bolted Utah, he would chase the warm embrace of his college coach and not the babes in South Beach lifestyle. But I should know never to count out Pat Riley.
