Kronwall’d or Kronwalling have become common terms to Detroit Red Wings fans due to Niklas Kronwall’s tendency to knock opposing players the eff out when they least expect it. It can now apply to any situation where someone gets truck sticked out of nowhere. “Ohhh, you just got Kronwall’d,” or “I’ve been Kronwalling random people at the mall lately.” It’s a phenomenon.
The Detroit Red Wings released a video today that advertises a (fictional?) open skate with the Red Wings (no date or time given) and tells fans to “Get Kronwall’d.” I have no idea why anyone would want to ‘get’ Kronwall’d, but the video is funny nonetheless.
