It’s been awhile since we’ve done this one due to time constraints, but welcome back to Thirsty Thursday – our weekly look around the web at what’s being written and visualized about our beloved Badgers. This week we’re focusing on the stories and interesting opinions surrounding the Badgers basketball team in the Sweet 16.
First off we’ll start with a great piece by Jim Polzin at the Wisconsin State Journal where he talks about the sudden depth of scoring options for the Badgers. He’s pretty on in this one and could be a huge factor in winning or losing for Wisconsin.
Polzin must have been hard at work as he turned out a 2nd piece talking about the emergence of Ryan Evans. It’s also a great read into the hard work, stubbornness, and even arrogance that helped him grow.
Behind enemy lines they are talking about the season of overcoming adversity at Nation of Orange.
Staying behind enemy lines the guys over at NunesMagician on the SBNation gave us a nice look into previews and videos that’s worth checking out.
ESPN’s College Basketball Nation had a pretty decent look at the game that’s worth checking out.
Of course the game tips off as the first one of the night at 6:45pm Central time, so we’ll be covering it live for you on Twitter from the comfort of an undisclosed couch!! Join in the discussion on Twitter by clicking here and following us.
