July 26, 2008 in Baltimore the Angels beat the orioles 11-6. Casey Kotchman hit a home run and drove in 2, Juan Rivera homered and drove in 3 and Torii Hunter hit 2 home runs with 5 RBI. Jon Garland would pitch 5 1/3 innings to win hit 9th game of the year. Jon Garland was traded in November of 2007 from the Chicago White Sox for Orlando Cabrera and had a 14-8 record with a 4.90 ERA. Garland would have his 7th straight season of 32 or more games started in 2008 with the Angels. Garland would only play the 2008 season for the Angels and signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks at the beginning of 2009.
