May 5, 1962 at Dodger Stadium the Los Angeles Angels would beat the Baltimore Orioles 2-0. Bo Belinsky would pitch a no-hitter in the game, walking 4 and striking out 9 to give the Angels their first franchise no-hitter. This game would be Belinsky’s fourth straight win of the year which stood as an Angel record by a rookie starting off their career with four straight victories or better (he won his first five of 1962), until it was broken by Jered Weaver in 2006. Belinsky would play three years with the Angels compiling a 21-28 record and a 3.75 ERA.
