Three Buzzer Beaters from the Pistons on Sunday Night

bg3rd

The Pistons improved to 3-0 on the preseason on Sunday evening and in the process hit three buzzer beaters to end the first three quarters.

Rip hit one in the first surrounded by a crowd of Hawks.  Rodney Stuckey ended the first half by absolutely stripping his defender of his jock (no homo) and knocking one down from the elbow.  And then Ben Gordon had to outdo them both as he dribbled down the court, zig-zagging defenders, and pulled up just in front of half court to create the sweetest string music I’ve heard since Terry Mills used to rip the strings with his sensual triples.

If it weren’t for a nine point lead at the end of the 4th quarter, Will Bynum would have surely gotten into the buzzer-beating act, but it was not needed.

This team is going to be very exciting to watch this season.
