Three teams could be interested in trading for Nick Foles

This time, last year, quarterback Nick Foles looked as if he was going to be staying with the Philadelphia Eagles. But that was not true as he was traded to the St. Louis Rams in exchange for quarterback Sam Bradford on the first day of NFL Free Agency.

Foles did not have a stellar 2015 season with the Rams as he completed a career-low 56.4-percent of his passes, while throwing for 2,052 yards, seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions. In his first season with the Rams, Foles only played in 11 games as he dealt with nagging injuries. Since his amazing 2013 season, where he threw 23 touchdowns and two interceptions, the last two seasons for Foles have been average at best.

With that being said, the Rams could be looking to move fourth year quarterback.

According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, the Miami Dolphins, Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins could be interested in trading for Foles. Currently, all three teams have a starting quarterback but all could need a solid backup quarterback. Out of the three teams, Dallas and Washington could use Foles as Tony Romo is getting older and Kirk Cousins is only on a one-year deal (franchise tag).

If the Rams do move Foles, it could mean that they will be drafting a quarterback with their first round pick. In last year’s draft, they drafted Oregon State quarterback Sean Mannion in the third round.
