It was April 1994 and the Chris Ford led Boston Celtics were 31-49. The C’s were about to experience their first losing season in 15 years, Robert Parish was the only remaining member of the big 3 still in green & the franchise was getting ready to face some tough years. But one bright spot on that ’93-’94 squad was fourth year guard Dee Brown. Brown was having a breakout season. He averaged career-highs of 15 ppg and 48% shooting from the field.

The highlight of Brown’s season was a 40 point explosion on April 22nd in Chicago. In a double-OT thriller, Brown went 14 of 15 from the FT line, 2 of 3 from downtown and also notched 5 assists, 7 rebounds & 4 steals. Thanks to a dominant 14-4 edge in the second OT, the Celtics beat the Bulls 104-94. In one of his final games as a Celtic, The Chief chipped in 14 points & 7 rebounds, including a few key hoops in the second overtime. Check out all the highlights below courtesy of LamarMatic.
