Charles Woodson: Heisman Trophy winner, Pro-Bowler, firefighter. Well, sort of. Woodson was able to help some people get out of a burning house early Wednesday morning, but the house still burned down. “Hero” might be a more appropriate title.

The British Open kicked off today at historic St. Andrews, and John Daly wasted no time shocking the world both with his choice of outfit and his game. Daly shot a 6-under 66 and is currently tied for second. The full leaderboard is here.

- The NBA summer league was the only actual sports action taking place last night. The Pistons lost their second straight game, falling to 2-2 this summer. Piston Powered also looks atthe players on the Pistons summer league roster not under an NBA contract.
