There’s some really interesting stuff here about how the front office uses statistics, their goals for the draft, and even stuff like how to go about getting a job in baseball (hint: it’s not easy) etc. Definitely worth a read.

There’s also a new Bloguin blog named Randall Simon’s Sausages (about general sports, not just the Pirates or sausages), which I imagine might have some time getting past the new Google Instant filter for potentially pornographic images.
