Thursday Night Football: Minnesota Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers

Minnesota Vikings (2-2) at Green Bay Packers (2-2)

After four weeks, it is extremely surprising that these division rivals find themselves at the same notch of the proverbial NFC North totem pole.

I’m quite impressed with how the Vikings have played to this point, and it is evident that there has been a seamless transition from All-Pro running back Adrian Peterson to Matt Asiata, Peterson’s backup.

The Packers, however, have struggled in the beginning few weeks but avoided a 1-3 start with a dominant performance from the Aaron Rodgers-led offense.

Green Bay should win this game. They’re the better team with the better quarterback playing at home on primetime. However, if the Vikings and Asiata can run the ball effectively and keep the ball out of Rodgers’ hands, this game might culminate in a more dramatic conclusion. Will this be the most entertaining Thursday night football game through the first five weeks?

Prediction: Green Bay 34, Minnesota 23
