Tidbits from around the Big Ten

A couple of interesting articles abound from around the league.

Apparently, despite the times, Michiscum is not hurting for people wanting to buy tickets.  Would you seriously pay $85,000 a year (via ESPN) for a required 3 years to watch your favorite team (who went 3-9 last year) play?  Even in insane comfort?  I didn’t think so.

Though, it does speak volumes of their fans.  I’ll let you decide if it’s “very loyal” or “completely stupid”.

In other news, one of M*ch*g*n’s brand new “Uber-Quarterbacks”, Denard Robinson, does not tie the laces of his cleats when he plays.  Am I the only one gleefully imagining the moment when Thaddeus Gibson literally decleats him?

Finally, from the “Money is Everything” department, Indiana University has agreed to move a home game against Penn State to the Washington Redskins Stadium next year. Indiana gets $3 million for this deal, but…seriously? I think this is the most recent in a long list of reasons that tell us that maybe Indiana isn’t “Big Ten Quality” anymore…
