Earlier today, the Tigers traded minor league prospect Cole Nelson to the Minnesota Twins for OF Delmon Young. Fans at Comerica Park might want to be a bit concerned. While seemingly docile, Delmon can be deadly accurate with his bat tosses.
Young was kind enough to homer in his first Tigers at bat, but didn’t do too much afterward in a 9-6 loss. Oh, and some guy named Jim Thome hit his 600th career home run off of Daniel Schlereth in the 7th inning.
