I didn’t see the hit live, but I knew about it almost as soon as it happened. I felt it when the world stopped turning. Was the world ending?
I turned on the TV and, sure enough, I saw Tim Tebow, one of the 12 disciples, laying motionless on the ground. It looked bad. I prayed with the rest of the world. I thought about my grandma who I haven’t said goodbye to yet. There was so much left to do in this world, I didn’t want it to end on the field like this.
Luckily for this adorable (completely compatible) couple, they had each other near and held on tight, praying that Tim Tebow would rise from the surface and make everything in the world right again.
As for the Kentucky player who laid that hit on Tebow, and rudely celebrated like his team wasn’t losing by three touchdowns, he better not go outside any time soon. Lightning strikes fast.
