Brian Stubits at CBS Sports feels it’s about time the NHL starts taking the Rangers seriously…
“The view in the Eastern Conference is that it’s the Boston Bruins and Pittsburgh Penguins followed by every other team. While that’s still the case — I mean, they have combined to win two of the last three Stanley Cups — there has to be a setting at the table for the Blueshirts, no?”
…first time since 1994 I’m feeling confident about a win before every game.
…and the funny thing about the Rangers success is they still have holes all over the place. Third defensive pair is a major question mark; Dubinsky, Boyle & Prust are all struggling; and the power play, until recently, has been inconsistant. Can you imagine if this team was clicking on all cylinders?
