These are the inactives for today's Titans-Rams game.
Tennessee Titans: QB Rusty Smith, S Michael Griffin, LB Moise Fokou, LB Zac Diles, G/T Pat McQuistan, T David Stewart, DE Lavar Edwards
George Wilson will start for Griffin, Colin McCarthy for Fokou, and Mike Otto for Stewart.
St. Louis Rams: QB Brady Quinn, RB Daryl Richardson, G Harvey Dahl, G/C Barrett Jones, DT Matt Conrath, G/T Mike Person, DE Gerald Rivers
Dahl, who started all of the Rams first eight games at RG, is the only notable inactive for the Rams.
Also, Damian Williams makes his NFL debut as the returner for the Titans. In a 2010 post-draft presser, Jeff Fisher and scout Marv Sunderland touted Williams' ability as a returner, and the plan was for him to take over the PR and KR duties. However, Williams was then sidelined during training camp and the preseason with a hamstring injury. I recall that when he finally did suit up, he was limited in camp and worked only with the receivers while fellow rookie Marc Mariani got a shot as the returner and took full advantage of his opportunity.
Following that draft, I remember seeing some footage of Williams returning a punt or two for a touchdown in college. While I don't think anyone is expecting that from him, I do believe Mike Munchak will be content if Williams doesn't make any poor decisions or have any muffs/fumbles.
Feel free to comment here during the game and in the recap, which will be posted afterwards.
