Titans add Harry Douglas and Da’Norris Searcy

Atlanta Falcons v New Orleans Saints

The Tennessee Titans got a quick start on their free agency plans by signing former Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Harry Douglas to a three-year deal. Douglas is coming off a down year but is just one year removed from a 1,067 yard season.

The Titans followed that up by signing former Buffalo Bills safety Da’Norris Searcy to a four-year deal. It has been reported to be for $24 million but the sides are still finalizing the contract. Searcy has five career interceptions and 209 total tackles in four seasons with Buffalo.

The Douglas acquisition helps give their future quarterback (whoever that may be) another option to an otherwise weak group of receivers. The Searcy acquisition helps the Titans strengthen one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL currently. At only 26-years-old, Searcy still has room to grow in a new organization and could further develop his game.
