The inactives are trickling out for today’s game, and include the following names:
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
FB Brock Bolen, DT Leger Douzable, T Kevin Haslam, DE Larry Hart, WR Mike Sims-Walker, T Adam Terry, WR Tiquan Underwood, CB Terrence Wheatley
TENNESSEE TITANS
WR Kenny Britt, WR Lavelle Hawkins, S Robert Johnson, T/G Troy Kropog, DT Sen’Derrick Marks, CB Ryan Mouton, QB Rusty Smith (#3 QB), LB David Thornton
For the Jaguars, the biggest name is Mike Sims-Walker, which was announced on Friday. Former Charger Kassim Osgood gets the start for him. Underwood was Kenny Britt’s teammate at Rutgers, but keeps dropping passes and gave the Titans an interception the first meeting by failing to run the right route.
For the Titans, Britt and Mouton are out after being listed as questionable, while Dave Ball, Tony Brown, and Jason Jones are all playing despite the same designation. David Thornton was probable, so probably could have played-we’ll see if they’re just giving him more time or if they just don’t think he’d be an upgrade. Both Brown and Jones in the lineup is good news, as the Jaguars perennially run between the tackles as much or more than any other team in the league.
Feel free to leave your comments here during today’s game. I’ll be chiming in on Twitter, with longer thoughts on Monday’s Audibles at the Line column on FO.
