The inactivves are out for today's game in Seattle with the Titans facing off against the Seahawks, and here they are:
TENNESSEE TITANS: LB Patrick Bailey, LB Zaviar Gooden, RB Shonn Greene, QB Jake Locker, C Brian Schwenke, OT Byron Stingily, CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson
SEATTLE SEAHAWKS: QB B.J. Daniels, OT Breno Giacomini, G Caylin Hauptmann, DE Benson Mayowa, TE Zach Miller, LB Bobby Wagner, FB Spencer Ware
No major surprises for either team. For the Seahawks, Marshawn Lynch plays after being listed as questionable while Miller does not, which was the consensus from what I saw. The most consequential losses are Giacomini, who was out,and Wagner, who was doubtful. Of course, given my thoughts on the Titans offense, I wouldn't call Wagner being out that consequential, even though I don't love Seattle's depth at linebacker. Seattle's O-line injuries, with LT Russell Okung on IR, are legitimate, but C Max Unger, the non-Okung good player, is active after being listed as probable.
The problem for the Titans will be scoring points playing in a hostile environment. I think they can limit what the Seahawks do if they do a good job tackling Marshawn Lynch. The return of Sammie Lee Hill (questionable) aids that effort, as does the presence of Derrick Morgan (ditto). Gooden, Greene, and Locker were out on the injury report, while Bailey and Wreh-Wilson were questionable, so the inactives were relatively obvious once it was clear Coty Sensabaugh would make it through the concussion protocol.
Feel free to leave your comments here during today's game. I'll be chiming in from time to time on Twitter, so yap at me there if you wish. Hopefully finally more content during the week this week.
