The draft is Thursday. 60 picks will be made. Being the The Lottery Mafia, we picked the first 14. Editor Aaron Fischman and writer Joe Atmonavage joined yours truly for a mock draft addition of TLM Podcast. The three of us rotated through each pick, justifying it no matter how far fetched it sounded. Below are estimated time stamps for each pick, so if you’re curious which player we dropped on your favorite team, you’ll know where to jump to. Or, if you’re a real NBA fan (or have an hour to kill) you’ll listen to the whole thing.
*Spoiler Alert* Dario Saric was picked at some point in the mock draft. Of course, Saric waited about 12 hours after we recorded to sign a three year deal with Anadolu Efes in Turkey, meaning the likelihood of going in the lottery has decreased significantly. Still, some team could still be crazy enough to draft him.
