Last night, I was lucky enough to go to the first exciting Wild game since they played Winnipeg back in January. The team came back from a goal down, scoring 2 goals in 45 seconds of game time, one to send it to overtime and the game winner by Mikko Koivu 15 seconds into the extra frame. Great game, too bad it was pretty much meaningless.
Anyways, two things stuck out from the game. First, there was the decision to move to the middle of our row to get a little bit of room. Half a period later, the drunk girl behind us puked all over the seats we were just in.
The second thing that stuck out was this stick from Tom Gilbert’s helmet. Like, it literally stuck out:
