I’d also like to point out that just since the season began Peyton has climbed some rungs of the ladder in a few of the statistical categories. He passed Vinny Testaverde and Drew Bledsoe in pass attempts, John Elway in passing yards and both Joe Montana and Warren Moon in number of games with 400+ passing yards.
He is also on pace to pass a few more players before the season is over. In theory he will pass Warren Moon in pass attempts, he will break the second-place tie he has with Dan Marino for career games with 4+ touchdown passes, he will also likely tie Dan Marino for most seasons in a career with 3,000 passing yards. He could also catch Brett Favre for number of games with 300+ yards, and to be honest I wouldn’t be surprised to see him catch Marino in this category as well.
