On May 29, 2010, Roy Halladay took the mound against the Florida Marlins. Fellow ace pitcher Josh Johnson was pitching for the Marlins that night, so everyone was expecting a pitching duel. The game would live up to its expectations, it was indeed a pitching duel. Josh Johnson pitched seven innings for the Malrins, allowing only one run, that was unearned. That was a very good performance from Johnson, but he was outdone by Roy Halladay. Halladay pitched nine innings, giving up 0 hits, 0 runs, and 0 walks. It was a perfect game from Roy Halladay, the first, and only, of his great career.
