Welcome to the first edition of the Total Sports Live Top 25 college football power rankings! It’s officially one week into the season, and it’s time to start the countdown to the inaugural college football playoffs!

1.  Oregon (1-0)

Last Saturday, Marcus Mariota and the Oregon Ducks came out firing on all cylinders, easily having the best performance of any of the top five teams.

2. Florida State (1-0)

Florida State’s offense and defense showed some weaknesses, however the Seminoles are still one of the top five teams in the country and still seem to be a lock to be in the playoffs for the next two years.

3. Alabama (1-0)

Alabama came out shaky against West Virginia, but as the game went on, their defense seemed to improve. Their offense is still a major worry as the Crimson Tide still don’t know who they’re starting quarterback truly is.

4. Georgia (1-0)

There was no victory more impressive than that of Georgia’s, whose defense surprised many and shut down a dangerous Clemson offense. If the Bulldogs’ defense can keep up their play, their offense which is led by Heisman candidate running back Todd Gurley, the Bulldogs could be hoisting the National Championship at the end of the season.

5. Oklahoma (1-0)

Oklahoma seemed not to miss a beat since they’re blowout win last year against Alabama in the Sugar Bowl as they blew out Louisiana Tech 48-16. If they continue to play like this, the Sooners will be fighting for the fourth spot all year long.
