Today and July 1st are the only two days that I blog about teams other than the Rangers. It’s just too fun a day to leave anything out. And of course if you guys see something I haven’t posted, please leave it in the comments section or e-mail me at ( [email protected]). And here we go…

…Knuble, who has scored at least 24 goals the last eight seasons, is actually pretty interesting. Has fallen out of favor in Washington and could be had for a bag of pucks right now. Has always been good on the power play.
…Gaustad makes no sense. Wonder if Prust would give Gaustad a hard time for beating the crap out of him Saturday night.
On the blueline Brooks adds that the Rangers are believed to be interested in the Capitals’ John Erskine. Brooks also mentions the Caps’ Dennis Wideman and Spacek.
…Erskine barely plays for a terrible Caps team and Wideman isn’t available. Next!
