In what is suppose to be a great match up between the #1 seed Celtics and #8 Bulls, tragedy struck a star player of the Boston Celtics Saturday morning.
Unrelated to basketball, a women was killed in a single car accident in Federal Way, Washington. The women was Chyna J. Thomas, the sister of point guard Isaiah Thomas of the Boston Celtics. Just 22 years old, Thomas unfortunately was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, police say.
For Isaiah, this is a very emotional time, and the playoffs are just a day away. According to reports, Isaiah’s family will travel from Washington, their home state, to Boston for the support of the All-Star point guard.
