During Under Armour high school All-American game, Travis Rudolph was the first one to commit. The Florida State Seminoles will be glad to bring on the prime time receiver Rudolph, another weapon for Famous Jameis in the 13-14 season. Out of West Palm Beach Florida, Rudolph played his high school ball at Cardinal Newman High School. Being on varsity since his freshman year, Rudolph also lined up at the running back position all four years.
Rudolph is ranked 61 according to ESPN and the 7th ranked WR in the nation. He is currently listed at 6’1″ and weighing in at 188 lbs. Running a 4.52 40 yard dash, Rudolph has great hands and is excellent in running the ball after the catch. In the 2014 Under Armour game, Rudolph contributed well by grabbing 4 catches for 48 yards and a touchdown. He showed his amazing ability in running after the catch after a 10 yard pass from Michael O’Connor. With the Seminoles receiver Kelvin Benjamin declaring for the 2014 NFL Draft, Rudolph can step in and play a huge role as an incoming freshman.

Rudolph also played some on the defensive side of the ball as well and the special teams. He will most likely play the receiver position more in college in Tallahassee. His experience at the Under Armour All American was quite wonderful and competing with the best athletes just makes it better. Rudolph says that Marlon Humphrey was the best defensive back he went against in the practices.
“The best is up in the air, but Marlon Humphrey,”said Rudolph. “He really cold, he real good.”
Humphrey is the nations #3 cornerback according to ESPN and is currently undecided at the moment. Rudolph will make the big plays when needed and is a very skilled receiver. He doesn’t blazing speed yet but that is certainly an aspect he can get better with on his game. With so much potential, Rudolph can be a star at FSU.
