Trending toward healthy

The Colts hope to have some starters back

The Colts won’t be at full strength but seem to be trending in that direction. The team anticipates starting weak-side linebacker Clint Session gaining medical clearance and returning to practice — that was one of owner Jim Irsay’s “tweets” over the weekend — while starting cornerback Kelvin Hayden is optimistic he’ll be available.

Session has missed the past six games with dislocated right elbow. A neck injury kept Hayden out of last Thursday’s 30-28 win at Tennessee.

“I’m positive about the situation,” Hayden said Monday as the Colts returned to work following a three-day weekend. “Things are looking good for this weekend, so we’re going to try to take the right steps toward that and just hope for the best.”
