Trevor Story Signs Exclusive Deal with Topps

Welp…that was fast.

After making history by hitting seven home runs in his first eight Major League games for the Colorado Rockies, Trevor Story has, again, made headlines. Wednesday, it was announced that the 23-year-old had already signed an exclusive memorabilia deal with Topps.

“Trevor Story’s first week as a big leaguer was phenomenal,” said David Leiner, Topps Vice President and General Manager of North American Sports and Entertainment. “No one has done what he has done at this level. The excitement he brings to every game is something that can’t be matched. We are proud to have Trevor join our Topps Authentics lineup.”

What this means is this. If you want to get an authentic Story autograph, short of cornering the shortstop at the ballpark, you have to go through Topps to get your baseballs, jerseys, bats and oversized cards signed.

Sure beats eBay.

Story joins a star-studded roster with Topps that includes resent signees Carlos Correa, Francisco Lindor, Luis Severino and Kenta Maeda.
