On a special edition of the Total Sports Live Podcast, Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Jeremy Butler joins Jovan Alford to discuss his journey from being an undrafted rookie back in 2014, to making the Ravens’ roster before hitting injured reserved, finally getting a chance to play this past season and making the most of his opportunity.
Around the 7:40 mark, Jovan talks with Butler about his play in 2015 as he had 31 receptions for 363 yards, playing big time snaps against tough defenses such as the Seattle Seahawks, Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals.
To follow-up, Butler talks about what those games did for his confidence by ending his season on a good note and using what he learned to help him this upcoming season.
Jovan also makes sure to get words of wisdom from Butler as he asks him for advice for any small school player that has NFL dreams but doesn’t nowhere to start.
Finally, towards the end of the podcast, Jovan gets Jeremy’s thoughts on NBA free agency as he is an avid NBA 2K player. The two discuss the best 2K teams to play with and how crazy NBA free agency is, in comparison to NFL free agency.
