It’s the best time of the year in the college basketball world and the highly anticipated American Athletic Conference Tournament is set to start Thursday, March 10 at the Amway Center in Orlando, Fla.
Only Temple is a sure lock for this year’s Big Dance, according to CBS Sports‘ Jerry Palm. Cincinnati, UConn, and Tulsa are among the last four in, but all could benefit from a security win in the conference tourney. Unfortunately, despite 13 wins in AAC play, SMU is ineligible to participate due to NCAA sanctions.
