Update, 3:55 p.m.:
A bit of a scare during post scrimmage drills as Gaborik, who has four goals in three scrimmages) lost an edge and slammed into the boards. After getting up gingerly, he was able to continue after a short break.
…can the Rangers put him in bubble wrap for the rest of the pre-season.
Speaking of Gaborik, Tortorella expects a big season from him…
“I just think he’s going to have a really good year,” Torts said of Gaby, a two-time 42-goal scorer. “I think he knows how it went last year and he wants to prove things to people—and himself. And I think he’s pretty excited to play with the guy (Brad Richards) we brought in here. He looks good to me, and is in really good shape.”
Update, 3:36 p.m.:
Andrew Gross at Ranger Rants recaps the second scrimmage, which included a big open ice hit from Dylan McIlrath.

Original Post:
This morning’s scrimmage has Henrik Lundqvist’s White team facing off against Marty Biron’s Green team.
And with Artem Anisimov back between Brandon Dubinsky and Ryan Callahan he scores the first goal of the game for the Gream team against Lundqvist.
…nice to see these three reunited. With Gaborik-Richards-Wolski as the #1 line the Rangers should have two very potent lines.
