Apartment hunting is probably the worst task known to man. Apartment hunting when you don’t know the area? A damn nightmare.
- The Chicago Bulls fired coach Vinny Del Negro yesterday after two seasons with the team. A press conference will be held today to officially announce it, but Bulls fans are already beginning to celebrate.
- NBA commish David Stern isn’t pulling any punches about this summer’s free agency bonanza: he wants LeBron to stay in Cleveland. Despite his reasoning, I think LBJ heading to the Knicks is good for the league, as long as the Knicks are successful. James heading to the Nets, or anywhere else, would be the worst-case scenario for Stern.
- Guyism has the details on the next Batman movie, but don’t feel like you need to read up today: the movie isn’t projected to hit theaters until 2012. If you think this is a major buzzkill, remember that there was a three year waiting period between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. Still, I’m excited.

- I was going to put together a second batch of awesome Kentucky Derby hats, but Blythe over at Guys Girl kicked my ass the first time (though I did have girls making out). It’s probably not a good idea to look though pictures of people mud wrestling while I’m at work anyway.

- Frumpzilla took a peek at the player ratings for Madden 2011 and noticed something you might find pretty interesting: Matthew Stafford has the biggest cannon in the NFL. His ‘throw power’ rating of 97 is apparently tops among QBs, beating out Jay Cutler and Jamarcus “Yeah, gimme another cheeseburger” Russell. [via NESW Sports]
- What an awesome picture. Thanks 700 Level. [via Busted Coverage]
- Ho. Lee. Shit. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry over this new “We Are ND” video. Before you question my Michigan allegiance, think about how you would feel if Michigan ever did this. Yeah, I thought so. As expected, Mgoblog is ready and willing to pile it on.

- At Busted Coverage, J Koot is a big fan of the Cortege parade in Gothenburg, Sweden. As played out as some of the Tiger Woods jokes are now, this is still pretty entertaining.
- Ridiculous Upside has released their first version of an NBA Mock Draft. While the NBA draft doesn’t get the same hype the NFL draft does, I’m still interested to see who goes where, and especially who could be coming to Detroit. [via Detroit Bad Boys]
Today’s random video and highlight after the jump…
RANDOM AWESOME VIDEO OF THE DAY
Sportscenter has been pimping this for the past few hours, but I saw it before it was on there anyway. Check out the two deer that busted into a restaurant in Menomonie, WI. [via Deadspin]
ROB’S HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY
Hey, if the Cleveland Browns thought highly enough of this video to give the dude a contract, why can’t it be today’s highlight? Ok, it’s a slow day. Shut up.
