- Bad news for the Minnesota Twins (and good news for my Yankee-loving friends): Justin Morneau is out for the season with post-concussion symptoms.
- Busted Coverage was in Tuscaloosca last weekend for the Alabama-Florida game. As much as I love Ann Arbor on game day, this post makes me want to hit up an SEC school for a game as soon as possible.
- I posted a great photoshop thread yesterday, but this one has the potential to be even better. Of course, they need about 8 pages or so of comments to catch up. [via Deadspin]
- I can’t even imagine how much these guys would be fined if they played in the NFL.
- Barstool Sports rightfully calls out an Arizona State alumnus for being an anonymous pervert. Besides, everyone knows all the Pac-10 schools are loaded with talent.
- I hit them up yesterday (and was too late with the link, apparently) but the first episode of The Production Line’s new podcast is up and running. The autotune intro song is entertaining, to say the least.
- Nightmare on Helm Street has some updates on the Red Wings’ roster, while On The Wings speculates on whether Patrick Eaves will be in Detroit for much longer. I’ll try to get up a decent preview before the season kicks off on Friday.
