Taking a look at the overnights from last night, Fox won the ratings over its competition, but its numbers for the BCS Championship Game are down from last year as the Sports Media Watch tells us.

Neil Best of Newsday writes in his Watchdog blog that the numbers for the BCS Championship Game were less than stellar. Neil also has the Arbitron ratings showing that the Fall ’07 book was a good one for WFAN’s new morning show.
John Consoli of Mediaweek says while the BCS Championship numbers dropped, Fox still used the game to steer the night to a win in the key demographics.
ESPN wants you to know that 2007 was very good viewing year for ESPN2 and ESPNews.
