Tuesday Thoughts, More like Crosstown Shootout Highlights

One of the bummers about writing about a program that doesn’t get a ton of coverage nationally, and doesn’t have a rabid fanbase, is that there isn’t a ton of news that rolls out. The Bearcats football team just stopped practicing. The basketball team filled all their scholarships for this season. God’s Gift is still up in the air, but it doesn’t look good for UC.

The only news are football recruits for 2012. While that’s all fun and exciting, I really don’t care. Doesn’t budge my interest one bit. I’ll do a link roundup tomorrow or Thursday and most of that stuff will be in there, but I don’t care enough to post it on it’s own. I think we’ve touched on that in the past. But hey, if you like recruiting news, and you want to talk about it and read about it, write about it. There is a position available for Bearcats Blog recruiting news reporter. Make sure your writing isn’t complete crap, and you can jump right in. No joke. There is a contact me button up top that works, so if you want to do it, go right ahead. All I ask is that you don’t suck and you don’t flake. I have a feeling this might be it’s own post later in the week.

My thoughts today have been washed away by the 45 days of rain. I never really minded the rain until it happened every day. It’s getting on my nerves. Plus, humidity is an awful, awful thing that serves no purpose. Since we all need something to pick us up, here are Crosstown Shootout highlights. The bonus video is Sean Kilpatrick and Larry Davis making fun of Cashmere Wright, which is also enjoyable.
