*DT Ed Johnson is continuing to progress after missing 15 games last year after his release after a marijuana arrest. “He’s a guy that’s proven he can play,” Caldwell said. “Taking that kind of time off, you lose a little bit. I don’t care who you are. Very few guys can come back and hit the ground running at the same level of play as when they left. He’s been working himself back into that kind of shape and pressing to do so. He’s been adhering to that and getting a little better each week.”
